A versatile artist, Jane Cornish Smith produces work of varied media—oil, pastel, gouache, watercolor, collage and printmaking — with equally diverse representational and non-representational subject matter.

She has received B.F.A. and M.L.A. degrees from Southern Methodist University with coursework in studio art, art history and writing, and has studied with artists Ellen Soderquist, Mary Vernon, and Chong Chu, among others.

An award-winning artist, Jane is a member of many art organizations and has had her work accepted into numerous state, regional and national juried shows.  Her creations hang in private and corporate collections across the world.
